The Three Classes Of Grand Prix Motorcycle Sport Racing
The Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix is organized by three classes. They are:
* Moto3 class.
* Moto2 class.
* MotoGP class.
The MotoGP class features the 1000 cc motor. Back in 2002, the 990 cc four-stroke bikes and the 500 cc two-stroke bikes were in this class. It quickly became apparent that the two-stroke bikes could not compete with the larger displacement four-stroke bikes. Thus, the two-stroke bikes were dropped from this class.
